1. INTRODUCTION

NomadVillage.es is a platform operated by Scientia.International S.L. (Spain), CIF: B19838929, with a registered address at Calle Campus Universitario de Espinardo, 7, Espinardo, Murcia, Spain, 30100.

NomadVillage.es connects digital nomads with rural villages in Spain, facilitating rural house rentals, cultural experiences, coworking spaces, and the sale of local products through the "Hecho en Pueblo" marketplace.

By using the platform, digital nomads (guests), property owners, experience organizers, municipalities, and marketplace vendors fully accept these Terms and Conditions.

2. SERVICES OFFERED

NomadVillage.es acts as a financial and service intermediary but is not a real estate broker. Its services include:

Rural House Rentals: Connecting digital nomads with property owners for long-term rental agreements.
Cultural Experiences: Activities organized by local residents to immerse visitors in the region’s traditions and culture.
Rural Coworking: Infrastructure for remote work in shared spaces within participating villages.
Marketplace "Hecho en Pueblo": A platform for selling and promoting local products.

NomadVillage.es is not responsible for the management or maintenance of the properties or the quality of services provided by experience organizers and marketplace vendors.

3. RURAL HOUSE RENTALS

3.1 Property Verification

Listed properties may be verified in two ways:

Physical verification: Conducted by a NomadVillage.es representative in certain villages.
Remote verification: Based on information and materials provided by property owners.

NomadVillage.es is not responsible for discrepancies between the information provided and the actual condition of the property.

3.2 Property Owner Responsibilities

The property owner must ensure that:

The property is legally eligible for rental.
Living conditions are safe and suitable.
All information provided is accurate and up to date.
The rental agreement between the parties is honored.

3.3 Guest Responsibilities

Digital nomads renting a house must:

Make payments on time as agreed on the platform.
Use the property responsibly and respect local regulations.
Report any issues immediately to the owner and NomadVillage.es.

3.4 Payments and Commissions

All rental payments are processed through NomadVillage.es, which deducts its commission before transferring the amount to the owner.
The first rental payment includes a one-time 20% commission on the first month, paid by the digital nomad.
The property owner pays a monthly 20% commission on each rental payment received.
The rental payment is transferred to the property owner 48 hours after the guest’s check-in, minus the platform’s commission.
Subsequent monthly payments will continue to be intermediated by the platform under the same procedure.

3.5 Cancellation Policy

By the Guest:

Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance: Full refund, excluding administrative fees.
Cancellations between 30 and 15 days before check-in: 50% refund.
Cancellations within less than 15 days: No refund.

By the Property Owner:

Cancellations without a valid justification may result in penalties and property suspension on the platform.
NomadVillage.es will fully refund the guest and attempt to find an alternative accommodation.

4. CULTURAL EXPERIENCES

4.1 Operation

Cultural experiences are offered by local residents and may include workshops, guided tours, gastronomy, and traditional festivals.
NomadVillage.es acts as an intermediary, facilitating bookings and payments.

4.2 Payments and Commissions

NomadVillage.es charges a 20% commission on each reservation made.
Payments are transferred to experience organizers after the experience takes place.

4.3 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations up to 7 days before the experience date: Full refund.
Cancellations between 6 and 2 days before: 50% refund.
Cancellations within less than 48 hours: No refund.

5. RURAL COWORKING

5.1 Operation

Coworking spaces are located in selected villages and offer high-speed internet, proper workspace furniture, and communal areas.
Users can subscribe to monthly membership plans.

5.2 Payments and Subscriptions

NomadVillage.es charges a monthly fee for coworking space access, ranging from €100 to €200 per month.
Subscription auto-renews, but can be canceled with a 7-day notice.

5.3 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations before the start of the next month: No extra charges.
Cancellations after renewal: No refund.

6. MARKETPLACE “HECHO EN PUEBLO”

6.1 Operation

The marketplace allows local producers to sell handcrafted products to digital nomads and external consumers.
NomadVillage.es is not responsible for product quality, delivery times, or logistics.

6.2 Payments and Commissions

NomadVillage.es charges a 15% commission on each sale.
The vendor receives the payment after the buyer confirms receipt of the product.

6.3 Dispute Mediation

NomadVillage.es may act as a mediator in disputes between buyers and sellers, but is not responsible for the final resolution.
The platform analyzes the evidence provided by both parties and may suggest solutions, but the seller has the final say on refunds or exchanges.

6.4 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations before shipment: Full refund.
Defective products: Buyers may request a return and refund.
Disputes are handled based on the mediation policy described above.

7. LEGISLATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

NomadVillage.es is governed by Spanish laws and European Union regulations.
In case of disputes, parties agree to mediation or arbitration in Spain.

8. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

User data is handled in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.
NomadVillage.es does not share personal data with third parties without authorization.

9. MODIFICATION OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

NomadVillage.es may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated conditions.
